So i am having a strange issue, when i try and login to esseker map on the server i setup, it acts like it loads fine, instead of halo drop though, all i get is a blank open field. no land terrain or anything. then for about 10 seconds it seems like it wants to load, then kicks me back to server list. Im using the a2op with esseker map, the issue I think im having is that I added zeus. I need zeus to work as well as exile together. my mission file is: can anyone point me in the right direction on what the issue may be? I have verified my esseker mod and my a2op mods are up to date.

Not sure if this is the place to ask but I have recently been trying to set up a private server running on the Esseker map (downloaded an exile.esseker.pbo) but I keep running into issues while trying to start up the server. Console information Normally when I get the issue about deleted content it is because it is not there, but all these .pbo files are located in the @esseker folder. Not really sure what to do so any help would be welcomed.

I will post links to specific threads or posts or website and I will do my best not to mirror any files just to be sure I am not breaking any rules. Notes : Due to my limited (almost none) skill of scripting, there might be some cases I might not be able to help you out. This thread is meant to have collective support from other guys of Exilemod.com forum (Exile community) to help each other out. P.S. THIS IS A TUTORIAL TO START FROM SCRATCH ========================================================================================== OPERATION : ESSEKER Requirements: @Exile (duh) @ExileServer (and again, it's basic server installation) @AllInArmaTerrainPack NOTE: HAVE THE LATEST AIA:TP VERSION AND APPLY THE HOTFIX. @Esseker (You can also find Esseker map within the Steam WORKSHOP) Esseker server .bikey Esseker Loot Spawns by @Hollow (DISCOUNTINUED) unPBO tool OR Eliteness (Can be found easily with a small Google search, depends which one you prefer) Notepad ++ (or if you use Eliteness, you don't need N++) m3Editor by @Maca134 ------ This is used for custom trader zone. Installation: In this stage, it is straight forward if you understand and have known before how to setup an Exile multiplayer server. If you do not have the prior knowledge, you may continue to read. A few notes before going in the installation stage: This is a tutorial made for self-hosted servers and I am not familiar with online services offering to host in a dedicated area. 1. For convenience sake I will cite @Maca134's guide / server package that includes the client files and server files of Exile. "http://www.exilemod.com/topic/666-dedicated-server-package/" 2. Please, make sure your vanilla server with Altis does function correctly. If not, you may ask for help within this thread or search around in the forums. 3. After all of the above is done, extract the remainder in your server directory folder. In my case, it is located in "C:\Arma\Server\". 3. a) When you have successfully extracted @Esseker and @AllInArmaTerrainPack in the directory. INSTALL THE .BIKEY OF ESSEKER AND AIA:TP (add them to your Keys folder in the directory. 3. b) Proceed to go in @ExileServer and edit "config.cfg". 4. You need to modify a line under the class Mission (then class Exile). You have to modify the template so it goes from "template = Exile.Altis;" to "template = Exile.Esseker;". Now everything should be set, it is time to add what is missing : Traders, Safezones, Spawns and Loot spawns. ====================================================================================================== MAKING SPAWNS The rest of this tutorial will be time consuming. You will need to tinker around and find what markers, sensors (triggers) suits you best. 1. Fire up your ARMA 3 Editor with Esseker and AIA:TP loaded and scout for any possible spawnzones you want your players and yourself included to spawn. 2. Make a new mission file and add markers of where you want it to be. 3. After saving, get to where you have saved your newly made mission file (it might be named Esseker.Esseker). 3. a) There will be a mission.sqm inside that folder, open it up with your favorite text editor and copy all : class Markers { bla bla blah }; and replace (or add) to your mission.sqm file of the server. 4. I will provide an example of how it must look like (this is one of my spawns). REMEMBER THE " type="ExileSpawnZone"; " OR YOU WILL NOT SEE THE SPAWN IN YOUR LIST AFTER ENTERING YOUR SERVER. class Item0 { position[]={6678.9189,256.49823,3904.5002}; name="SpawnPlavaVranaMilitaryComplex"; text="Plava Vrana"; type="ExileSpawnZone"; }; Configurations (Trader, Safezones and Loot Spawns): This is where things might get tricky for some (myself included at the beginning). ======== LOOT SPAWNS ======= 1.   8. Hey Guys So I am wanting to create a heavy Exile Esseker Roleplaying server, but before I do that, I would need to know if this community would be interested in such a server. Breakdown: The server will feature a heavy ruleset. Here are some examples: No Killing on Sight: - Killing on sight will only be allowed if the player follows an Initiation protocol. Powergaming: - Defined as knowing information that your character would not know in game. Backstories: - Players must have a detailed backstory and follow their backstory in game. Website Integration: It would be pretty much impossible to run an Roleplay server without web integration. This would include Forums, A Reputation System, Lore, Backstory, Clan Databases and Such. Mods: Mods will be implemented to help improve Roleplay. Such mods like ACRE, ACE and mods to make the experience more realistic. Realistic Setting: I myself would like to implement survivor outposts and camps to make it a lot more realistic. I would also like to add content that users can submit. Map: I would like to use Esseker because it is such a beautiful map. However, it is unfinished so Id have to consider Chernarus for the time being. Please leave your thoughts below. Thanks, z3sp.

Hey everyone, i'm making an exile server for me and my friends to play on and i can't seem to get loot to spawn for esseker (both arma 3 and arma 2 buildings) i have tried many guides on the forums but most of the threads i've seen have come to the conclusion that it can't be done is this true? I rolled back to the vanilla exile positions and tables (for altis) so i can try a new method if anyone has one. Does anyone have this working who would be willing to share their solution? Thanks for the help.
  11. So I have been doing really good with my Esseker server and I was not having to many issues that I could not fix on my own and with a little help from the good people on here. Recently, I have been the only one that can log into my server. None of my admins or other players can join. Not really sure what happen and I believe my BE filters are set up correctly. I have left a link for my rpt log for someone to look at if they would ever be so kind. I have experience with programming but I am fairly new to all of this server stuff. I am sure that I have some issues with my server on my end and would greatly appreciate the help and input on what I can do to get the server available again to my friends and everyone else.   12. I know there has been a lot of threads about this topic already but believe this is different. I gotten loot to spawn in a few houses in the city named gulash but the exact same house in other cities do not spawn any loot. The mods i'm using to test this server is Esseker, A2OP (also tried CUP terrains complete) and exile. I've disabled spawning restrictions such as distance to safezone and increased spawn chance. i've gotten no errors, i've tried to create my own loot spawn positions and also used loot positions mad by others. if there is no solution, is there a way to manually create and place every loot spawn location on the map? thanks for any help.

  15. So to start things off, I have successfully created an Altis server from @S. tutorial, and have added on multiple mods to it. I am now trying to create a server for Esseker but have seem to run into a little snag. I have followed @RX-777-BAO tutorial and a few others that I can't remember. I am getting an error when I start my server: File mpmissions\_cur_mp.Esseker\mission.sqm, line 1203: /Mission/: Missing "}" Now I know where to go to check on this error but I have what the error is saying I am missing. I have included the mission.sqm for someone to look at. I know that I do not have traders yet, I just wanted to get the server up and running with a few spawn points for starters. Any help would be great. Thank you ahead of time.

  19. I discovered yesterday that the default vehicle spawn script has a couple of bugs in it. It's not too much of a problem with island maps, but on maps with land in the debug area, it's a bit of a nightmare; vehicles end up spawning outside of the map, needlessly eating performance and just generally looking extremely messy So, I fixed it up.   21. Hey guys, I hope this is the right place to write this. I just set up a new Exile Server. It ran fine on Altis, but I now tried to install Esseker on it and now nothing works... So the server starts fine. No Problems here so far (at least nothing shows up). But in the Server List in the A3Launcher only the mod Exile shows up and not the other mods (CUP Terrains Core, Esseker,...). If I try to join now, I get to the loading screen but then it says: "You can not play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. Esseker" But I have Esseker installed and can join other Esseker Servers.   22. Ok , i have had this server running for a while . Now what happened . Someone I know went and edited something in the missions file or possibly something else and now I am getting random crashes. It was running fine. I have since locked access to my database but I can't seem to find the error on what's causing the crashes. This is what i am running And here is where I think the crash begins That is the First error set. Then I think this one is the killer. There is A LOT to look at there . My RPT logs have been the 18k range. So if any of you guys have a idea on what could be causing the problem. Let me know and i will get right on it.. Thanks for looking!

  25. So on my Esseker server I just installed Infistar and as soon as I installed it when I spawned in I was outside of the map, and I couldn't see my character in third person. I spawned in a plane and I was able to get back in the map but I couldn't see myself still.
