Safe Zone Death

5 posts in this topic

So on our server if you're in the safe zone you are safe, however if someone from the outside shoots into the safezone you will die.

Im wondering if there is any way to fix that?

you could try and set markers to ExileSpawnZone

e.g.

class Item0
        {
            position[]={4984.3872,345.85376,9532.1982};
            name="NwAir";
            text="NwAir";
            type="ExileSpawnZone";
        };

Then something is fucked up. The safe zone puts allow damage false onto the player so they can't be damaged.

So check your mission file and make sure your safe zones type are correct.

What I have come to notice is, that all that are using class sensors to define safezones are having this issue. Use class markers in mission.sqm and define them like so:

		class Item0   // Defines safezone
		{
			position[]={6330.98, 0, 7800.99};
			name = "StaryTraderCity";
			text="Stary Trader City";
			markerType = "ELLIPSE";
			type = "ExileTraderZone";
			colorName = "ColorBlue";
			fillName = "SolidBorder";
			a = 150;
			b = 150;
			drawBorder = 1;
		};
		class Item1 // Sets map text
		{
			position[]={6330.98, 0, 7800.99};
			name="StaryTraderCityMarker";
			text="Stary Trader City";
			type="mil_dot";
			colorName="ColorBlack";
			a=1;
			b=1;
		};
