Hello.

Cant find actual map (terrain) tutorial.Anyone know where is?All what i find was outdated.

Have idea for map project..:)

What is outdated about it? I have followed that tutorial for a while and everything still seems identical?

 

Only difference I see is setting up the p drive, which arma 3 tools does that for you.

Thx.With this tut im stuck with layers.cfg...where can i downloaded?Or i must create my self?Or is same default? Dont understand this..:/

You just create it yourself or you can download a project on armaholic that gives you examples of each file. Here is the link.

Hello..

i have trouble with GENERATE LAYER.Is it generated long long time and then "Arma 3 Tool not responding" .

Is possible when my heightfield.xyz have 151 MB??Its normal?

that xyz isn't that big, at 151mb, I would assume your map frame is around 20kmx20km.

Has some good info on terrain creation, although I haven't really put out a lot of content yet.

 

Obviously change the wasti_circle\ to reflect whatever naming convention you use on your P: drive.

As far as layers .cfg goes, it should look like this:
