Request: LIFTER (Ported from Arma 2 -> 3)

6 posts in this topic

Hi Guys.

I just found found this: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=24753

Would this be possible to integrate into Exile, not as a mod which users would have to load? But as a script? I've looked at a lot of lifting scripts, however I haven't been able to find a scripted lifting script that actually works neatly and where you can see the ropes... Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Not true, my friend just started hosting an Exile server and it is not available from the start. Help

Because you need to place the slingload module in the mission.sqm ;)

And I don't need this anymore, got it working great with R3F and IgiLoad.

Guys the Arma 3 sling load does work right out the box no mods or scripts needed. However it is based on reality so your smaller choppers cant lift things twice there size. I have it on my server and it is the only way to lift. Also should note that the sling load only allows for one chopper the Taru without pods attached to lift the big trucks. If you are an admin on the server test this it works just have to try.

Dawg, we're referring to using it in Exile though, are you too? I'm completely unable to lift an SUV with my Taru, unless I'm doing something wrong? "B" and "CTRL B" for the sling functions right? Does someone need to be in the vehicle being lifted or is there some small trick I'm missing??

Thanks
