Headless Clients

2 posts in this topic

Hello, we have recently attempted to do headless client on our server, and we have the headless client up and running and we've tried to set it up for A3AXI. The headless client does join the server, but what it does after that, we aren't 100% sure on.

What we have done, is made a copy of the server folder into a new folder and called it ExileHC. We downloaded the A3AXI Headless client files and put them in the headless client folder. We also put them on the server, we are unsure if the headless client is actually running A3AXI or whether the server is? Is there an easy way to tell?

Our Server FPS is still dropping to low levels as it did before we applied headless client (or thought we did). I followed the guide that was on the github for A3AXI.

Our server contains the following mods: @A3AXI, @A3AXIHC, @asm, @Exile, @ExileServer, @infiSTAR_Exile and our client contains the same.

The launch commands are as follows:

Headless Client:

start "Exile HC" /wait /high "D:\A3Exile_HC\arma3server.exe" -client -autojoin -connect -port=2302 "-profiles=D:\A3Exile_HC\HC_default" -mod=@Exile;@A3XAI_HC

start "Exile" /wait /high "arma3server.exe" -port=2302 "-config=D:\A3Exile\TADST\default\TADST_config.cfg" "-bepath=D:\A3Exile\battleye" "-cfg=D:\A3Exile\TADST\default\TADST_basic.cfg" "-profiles=D:\A3Exile\TADST\default" -enableHT -malloc=ftbbmalloc -nologs -name=default -pid=pid.log -ranking=ranking.log "-mod=@Exile;" -autoInit "-servermod=@ExileServer;@infiSTAR_Exile;@A3XAI;"

There doesn't appear to be any indepth guides for beginners on setting up headless clients, so if anyone has any resources we can look at, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
