Loot Positions

Hello,
I'm just going to understand all about the loot stuff.
Did I understand that the loot is always of the building depends on the type?

If I define the basis of the type Loot building spawns this loot then absolute or relative to buildings in any building of this type on the map and at the positions?
Is there a way to say I want to coordinate x, y, z can spawn loot bsp. the middle of nowhere in a meadow?

You could place an item on the map in the mission editor move it to slightly below the ground so people don't actually see it, then reference that object in the loot table.
