Another "Traders aren't showing" thread

Question

Initially I took my InitPlayerLocal.sqf and modified it, adding "_trader =" and "_trader setVariable ["ExileTraderType", "Exile_Trader_Boat"];" (replace Exile_Trader_Boat with the correct trader name) and I wouldn't get traders spawning. I looked at the default InitPlayerLocal.sqf and noticed some of the traders didn't have the "_trader setVariable..." line on them. For example, from the default file:

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// Office Trader
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
_trader =
[
    "Exile_Trader_Office",
    "GreekHead_A3_04",
    ["HubBriefing_scratch", "HubBriefing_stretch", "HubBriefing_think", "HubBriefing_lookAround1", "HubBriefing_lookAround2"],
    [14599.6, 16774.6, 5.12644],
    220
]
call ExileClient_object_trader_create;

So, thinking I did something wrong with my custom InitPlayerLocal.sqf file, I took the default one and made no changes to it, even though it is for Altis and I run Lingor. I figured if it worked, then at least the traders would spawn, but they'd be in the wrong places, in the water, etc but at least they'd spawn. Nope. I checked with Infistar and there are no traders. Here's the error in my client log:

7:07:47 Error in expression <ent_object_trader_create;

_trader_
[
"Exile_Trader_Aircraft",
"WhiteHead_17>
 7:07:47   Error position: <[
"Exile_Trader_Aircraft",
"WhiteHead_17>
 7:07:47   Error Missing ;
 7:07:47 File mpmissions\__CUR_MP.Lingor3\initPlayerLocal.sqf, line 254

Here's the section of code the error references:

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// Western Guard 01
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
_trader =
[
    "Exile_Guard_02",
    "WhiteHead_03",
    ["InBaseMoves_patrolling2"],
    [2950.52,18195.3,4.93399],
    179.092
]
call ExileClient_object_trader_create;

Line 254 is the line that says:

    179.092

Any ideas?

Here's an example of a working trader:

_trader =
[
	"Exile_Trader_CommunityCustoms",
	"WhiteHead_16",
	[],
	[3778.75,18139.4,0.775736],
	90
]
call ExileClient_object_trader_create;

_trader setVariable ["ExileTraderType", "Exile_Trader_CommunityCustoms"];

That's not what the default files show. In your example, the line under "Whitehead_16", still has the trader movements in it, as shown in my example in the first post. Are the default files wrong? Should the section that defines the trader movements be removed?

You can use trader movements, I just don't personally.

Here's one with movement:

_trader =
[
    "Exile_Trader_Food",
    "GreekHead_A3_01",
    ["InBaseMoves_table1"],
    [0.1, 0.5, 0.2],
    170,
    _cashDesk
]
call ExileClient_object_trader_create;
_trader setVariable ["ExileTraderType", "Exile_Trader_Food"];

Ok then, thanks for the reply but that doesn't tell me anything I didn't post in my OP.

The default InitPlayerLocal.sqf has some traders missing the "_trader setVariable" line and I get the errors I posted above when using the DEFAULT Altis files.
