Open your mission.sqm and find the Markers section. Here's an example of some markers I placed in Namlask to mark my radiation zones:

		class Item2
		{
			position[] = {3960.14,0,8454.75};
			name = "radioa1";
			text = "Radioactive!";
			type = "mil_warning";
			colorName="ColorRed";
		};
		class Item3
		{
			position[] = {4974.70,0,6632.82};
			name = "radioa2";
			text = "Radioactive!";
			type = "mil_warning";
			colorName="ColorRed";
		};
		class Item4
		{
			position[] = {6487.92,0,9302.03};
			name = "radiochem";
			text = "Radioactive!";
			type = "mil_warning";
			colorName="ColorRed";
		};

This is my example of a radiation zone I used for the larger saltflat on Altis. The size of grid marker is set to the maximum radius of radiation zone so players can judge where the zone begins on the map.

Spoiler

        class Item33
        {
            position[] = {23344.3,0,18682.8};
            name = "RadiationZone";
            text = "";
            markerType = "ELLIPSE";
            type = "Empty";
            colorName = "ColorRed";
            fillName = "Grid";
            a=300;
            b=300;
            drawBorder = 1;
        };
        class Item34
        {
            position[] = {23344.3,0,18682.8};
            name = "AlmyraResearchFacility";
            text = "Almyra Research (Radiation Zone)";
            type = "mil_dot";
            colorName = "ColorBlack";
        };

Config for radiation zone.

Spoiler

{{23344.3,18682.8,0},150,300}  //Research Facility (Saltflats)

A trigger showing message to player when entering/exiting radiation zone.

Spoiler

    class Sensors
    {
        items=1;
        class Item0
        {
            position[]={23344.3,0,18682.8};
            a=300;
            b=300;
            activationBy="ANY";
            repeating=1;
            interruptable=1;
            age="UNKNOWN";
            name="RadiationZone";
            expCond="this && (local player) && (vehicle player in thisList)";
            expActiv="hint ""WARNING!!! Now Entering Radiation Zone! Use A Gas Mask For Protection From Radia tion!"";";
            expDesactiv="hint ""Leaving Radiation Zone. You Can Relax Now."";";
            class Effects
            {
            };
        };
    };

If you want to use the trigger, it needs to be added to the mission.sqm as well. I added the trigger above the "class Markers" section. Marker total is always marker count +1. Same thing if you use multiple sensors.

... enjoy! :)~

eliteness

I would heavily advise against eliteness, it is very out of date and can cause some serious issues. The alternative I would suggest would just be using the arma 3 tools package. It has pretty much everything that you would ever need.
