[SOLVED] UAV

Question

Hi, could anybody please tell me how to get the UAV's working.  I have added them to trade ad also the control panels but they will not connect. Do they work on Exile?

A little search never hurt ....

Firstly make sure you only make the I_ models available (only independent stuff).

Then you need to go into exile_server.pbo and go into the code folder. there you will find ExileServer_object_vehicle_carefulCreateVehicle.sqf. Find the line that refers that the UAV quad chopper and add the ones you want below. Mine looks like this:

if (_vehicleClassName isKindOf "I_UGV_01_F") then
{
 createVehicleCrew _vehicleObject;
};
if (_vehicleClassName isKindOf "I_UGV_01_rcws_F") then
{
 createVehicleCrew _vehicleObject;
};
if (_vehicleClassName isKindOf "I_UAV_02_CAS_F") then
{
 createVehicleCrew _vehicleObject;
};
if (_vehicleClassName isKindOf "I_UAV_02_F") then
{
 createVehicleCrew _vehicleObject;

};

Like I said, they work but you might want to read the other UAV thread too

Every time I try to repack the exile_server.pbo I get the following error:

Build failed. Result code=1 CfgConvert task failed

Any idea what would cause that? It only happens when I try to repack the exile_server.pbo. Any other pbo I never have an issue.

 

Ok I was using the wrong part of the tools to pack that file I guess I got it to pack sorry, but thanks for the info on the UAVs.
