[SOLVED] MY INSTALL OF INFISTAR BROKE SERVER

Question

Posted (edited)

I installed infistar today and when it gets to the point that you should see your player, I get WAITING FOR SERVER TO LOAD

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/487376647/20160327150951_1.jpg

I have went through the instructions 3 times BEFORE I posted this. Also went through what I did and can not find what is wrong.

Here is some information from my server.

HOST:                                Survival Servers

ALP:                                   @ExileServer;@Exile -servermod=@infiSTAR_Exile

PICS OF DIRECTORYS:                                       https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/487376647/mpmission.PNG                  https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/487376647/ftp.PNG

RPT:                                                                       http://pastebin.com/M5MPcAJy

SERVER.CFG                                                         http://pastebin.com/yTMPdHtr

DESCRIPTION.EXT                                               http://pastebin.com/UJqmtcT8

EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp                                  http://pastebin.com/rsPKmUpF

I probably miss something. Need a little help. :(

If you need more information just ask

FIXED

What I did was over look where the a3_infiSTAR_Exile.pbo was suppost to be.  The server is up and running thanks to the EXILE community

Special Thanks to Quixy

For starters, @ExileServer is not a client mod, so that is misplaced.

So: -mod=@Exile; -servermod=@ExileServer;@infiSTAR_Exile;

thats wrong, is a older Install instruction.

the @infistar_exile Folder can you delete .

only the a3_infistar_exile.pbo comes in the folder @ExileServer/addons/

in this folder is : exile_server.pbo and exile_server_config.pbo

OMG  I read that in the instructions and it went in one eye and out the other. Will try now..
So I dont have to add infistat to the custom launch parameters??

01. Open the .zip file you have gotten from the store and go to "infiSTAR.de_Exile\SERVER_ARMA3_FOLDER\@infiSTAR_Exile\addons\a3_infiSTAR_Exile"
02. Open the "EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp" and add your AdminUID(s), then check if the different settings are fine for you :) - do not edit the other files.
    It is the most important thing that you read carefully through the "EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp" and set all settings correctly for your server.

    You need to set the serverCommandPassword to the serverCommandPassword you have in your servers Config.cfg
    if there is no serverCommandPassword in your Config.cfg yet, set it like:
    serverCommandPassword = "passwordhere";

03. Go one folder back to "infiSTAR.de_Exile\SERVER_ARMA3_FOLDER\@infiSTAR_Exile\addons" and make the folder "a3_infiSTAR_Exile" to a pbo ("a3_infiSTAR_Exile.pbo")
04. Move "a3_infiSTAR_Exile.pbo" on your gameserver into your "Arma3Server\@ExileServer\addons" folder. So you have it in the same folder as "exile_server.pbo" and "exile_server_config.pbo"
05. Now go back to your "infiSTAR.de_Exile\SERVER_ARMA3_FOLDER" folder (in the unpacked zip you got from me) and move the dll files you can find there into your Arma3Server directory.
    create a folder called "infiSTAR_Logs" in your Arma3Server directory - you need to do that or the ARMA_LOG.dll can not write Log files!
    unless you change LOG_PATH = "infiSTAR_Logs/";  to LOG_PATH = ""; in the EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp, then it will write log files to the Arma3Server directory.

06a. The HPP files you got in "infiSTAR.de_Exile\MPMission" need to be copied into your mpmission "Arma3Server\MPMissions\Exile.Altis" folder or .pbo (whatever you use)
06b. The "call.fsm" you got in "infiSTAR.de_Exile\MPMission" needs to be copied into your mpmission "Arma3Server\MPMissions\Exile.Altis" folder or .pbo (whatever you use)
06c. Open the description.ext in your MPmission to add the following, or skip adding the following and replace it with the one from me

    the following:
    remove "class CfgRemoteExecCommands {};" and also remove
    "
class CfgRemoteExec
{
    class Functions
    {
        mode = 1;
        jip = 0;
        class ExileServer_system_network_dispatchIncomingMessage     { allowedTargets=2; };
    };
    class Commands
    {
        mode=0;
        jip=0;
    };
};
    "
    from the "description.ext"!
    After you removed that, you have to add  (just at the very bottom as last 2 lines should work fine) this:
    #include "infiSTAR_Exile_AdminMenu.hpp"
    #include "CfgRemoteExec.hpp"

    We need the CfgRemoteExec now, without it infiSTAR will not load! We are using it to distribute code instead using PublicVariables.
07. Copy the BattleyeFilters from "infiSTAR.de_Exile\BattleEye" over into your Battleye folder on the Server. Be sure to copy them into the correct folder.
08. That is it, very easy and fast done - Start up your server! :) - Default Open Menu Key is F1
