Server crashing

Question

Posted (edited)

So I noticed a few crashes with this code:

Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00BC61D4
graphics:  No
resolution:  160x120x32

Anyone have any ideas what this is and why it would cause the server to crash?

I started getting them when I added @mARMA, took it off and they went away.

That crash isn't caused by mARMA at all.
Its Arma not handling memory / pointers correctly.
They are still working on that, it used to be alot worse around christmas time.
You can try use the latest perf builds, incase they fixed whatever memory bug you are hitting

-----------------
Also i would remove that TYRK addon, it can cause random server crashes.
It hasn't been updated in a long time, and missing the updated hitpoints for players etc...
The TYRK patch only adds missing config entries the p3d models themselves are still missing the extra memory hitpoints.
Believe the author lost the source files, so TYRK wont be getting updated anytime soon :/

Been thinking about removing it for awhile now.

May do that soon.
