Servers works but not showing up

Question

Hi everyone,

I quickly build an Exile server, and it seems to be working fine.
Only thing is, it's not showing up in my Arma-client when I go to Remote and Enter 127.0.0.1:2302 as adress.

My RPT.

Worked fine yestherday...

Thanks for responding!

Still doesn't show up...
I enabled BattlEye to do this, since I have it disabled for now.

Sorry somehow I can't get this away...

Anyway, I tried reïnstallering the server from SteamCMD, create a whole new path to install the server to and did everything according to the manual. I port-forwarded the need ports in my router and disbaled my Firewall from my Anti-Virus. Still, I can't see the server. Everything vanilla and still not working?

What's your command line? Is this also on a home server? Try to see if you can see it on 127.0.0.1. Some isp's block ip loop back.

I can't connect on either 127.0.0.1 or my 'normal' ip...

It worked before, so I don't know what changed...

You might want to relook at your port forwarding. If it is set up correctly you server will show up right away under the lan tab. I had a similar issue messing around with my ports because I couldn't find my server listed.

I found out since, if you host and play from the same machine it won't show up for you on the internet. But it will always show if it is on your local machine and your ports are set correctly.

If he can't connect to 127.0.0.1, it's not a port forwarding issue. That's a loopback address, it doesn't go out to the router or firewall at all. So there is something wrong with his client and server.

Have you tried reinstalling everything? Reinstalling will remove one step in the problem solving process.
