Unpack  exile_server_config.pbo

and edit config.cpp

Change:

    ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    // VEHICLE SPAWN CONFIGURATION
    ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    class VehicleSpawn
    {
        /**
        * Grid Size for vehicle spawning,
        * smaller the number more vehicles,
        * you get the point
        */
        vehiclesGridSize = 2200; Change this

I don't think that's correct. The way I understand it, that just sets how big of a grid the server will use to spawn vehicles. So, if set to 2200 and vehiclesGridAmount is set to 2, then 2 vehicles will spawn in every 2200 meter square. I think the problem is with maps that have extra "debug" area outside of the map, as Chernarus has. I also see this on Esseker. You get to the edge of the "map" but you still have flat land that continues beyond that. On the maps that are islands, this won't happen.

An alternative to this is editing the ExileServer_world_spawnVehicles.sqf script and set the map sizes manually in there as BIS_fnc_mapSize might get the incorrect value depending on the maps config.

_mapsizeX = 12000 - _gridSizeOffset;//(_mapcenter select 0) * 2;
_mapsizeY = 12000 - _gridSizeOffset;//(_mapcenter select 1) * 2;

_mapsizeY = 12000 - _gridSizeOffset;//(_mapcenter select 1) * 2;

This number would be the total size of the map, not a radius from the map center, right? So if it's 5km to the edge of the map from the center, we would use 10000?

*EDIT* I tested this and got this error:

18:38:58 "ExileServer - Spawning Dynamic Vehicles. GridSize: 1000 Vehs/Grid : 2"
18:38:58 "ExileServer - Dynamic vehicles spawned. Count : 0"
18:38:58 Error in expression <s","_debugMarker"];
_mapsizeX = 10000 - _gridSizeOffset;
_mapsizeY = 10000 - _gr>
18:38:58   Error position: <_gridSizeOffset;
_mapsizeY = 10000 - _gr>
18:38:58 Error Undefined variable in expression: _gridsizeoffset
18:38:58 File mpmissions\__cur_mp.Esseker\custom\spawnvehicles\ExileServer_world_spawnVehicles.sqf, line 13

Here's the code I used in customcode:

ExileServer_world_spawnVehicles = "custom\spawnvehicles\ExileServer_world_spawnVehicles.sqf"; //Keeps vehicles spawning within the map

Code I replaced:

_mapsizeX = 10000 - _gridSizeOffset;//(_mapcenter select 0) * 2;
_mapsizeY = 10000 - _gridSizeOffset;//(_mapcenter select 1) * 2;
