0.9.6 --> 0.9.41 Revert

Hi Guys!!  I am trying to revert my server from 096 to 0941. I saved ALL my old 0941 files and just reinstalled everything on my GTX server via FTP.  Even after wiping the DB, I am stuck on Receiving Server Version when trying to load.  Getting into the log, I just found this:

7:07:40 "<infiSTAR.de> 0 - checking for EXILE_SERVER.."
 7:07:40 "<infiSTAR.de> 0 - Could not find EXILE_SERVER, infiSTAR will not start!"

So, I'm not sure why it would say that, I loaded all the exact same files I had when the server was working perfectly in 0.9.41, but I also just realized that there is NO mention in the log about connecting to the DB.

As always, I am grateful for any help you can give. :)

it's likely infiSTAR has had changes made to it that are not backwardly compatible.

I removed Infistar and all dependencies. Still receiving same error. :(

did you take out the infistar files out of the mpmission also? Did you take infistar out of the startup line?

If you still get the same error, infistar is loaded somewhere.

Apologies: By same error I mean stuck on 'receiving server version'.  The log shows no mention of Infistar.  I am also noticing no mention of DB connect. At all.

I pasted whatever files were in the extDB2 folder; would that do it?

as long as you filled in the database connection details for your server

Everything in  extdb-conf.ini is correct.  Could it be something client-side? I mean, if there is no DB connection details in the log, that should mean that the error is Server Side, right?

yes, usually either the database isn't running or your connection details aren't right.

If you post a full server rpt to pastebin we might be able to work out where it's going wrong
