Bouncing Safes.

I don;t know if anyone else has thought of this or has mentioned it, a quick search and all I found was regarding AI and safe zones.

 

This however.. is not about that. It is about placing a safe in your base.

I have had a few players, by few I mean 30+ and counting, mention to me that when they place a safe it has to be in a VERY large space.

I've checked it and found with free mode when placed.. it bounces out of position and in some cases turns into a large heavy bullet! One side of the room to the other.

When free mode and physics it sits when you hit space bar then does "Freezing position" and does a little hop out of place. 

Its as if the hit box is 3 times the size of the safe and its touching walls etc.

 

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this or if a Dev is aware and there is going to be a fix?

I ask because I have players from A2, where they used to be able to sink safes into walls and stack them. Ya know...for OCD and feng shui.

Is fixed in next version if i understood eichi right

No ETA given. I know this is kind of useless sentence but it is done when it is done. There are a few bugs to fix yet and also it makes sense to check arma update first and THEN applying all the stuff to exile. So it COULD be this week, next week... Only devs will know :)

They are most likely waiting on 1.52 from BI to release because they were working with BI on getting some other stuff fixed anyways.

i placed a safe in a barn and hit 6, took steps back ALOT of steps and then moved it into place hit space bar and it flew at me end over end and killed me lol
