Battleye not kicking global banned players

7 posts in this topic

Posted (edited)

Hi all,

I've installed a dayz server with overpoch mod and activated battleye in the server.cfg.

Server console output is showing on startup: 15:23:32 BattlEye Server: Initialized (v1.207)

But global banned players can still join.

In the server browser it is showing that battleye is not "needed" on my server (check attachement).

I hope somebody can help out...

Not entirely sure how you got directed here, but this is the Exile Mod forums for Arma 3.

Might want to check out https://www.battleye.com/support/  or some other Arma 2 overpoch mod forums like this http://epochmod.com/

Server setups between Arma 2 and Arma 3 are a little different.  You might get lucky though and someone on here that used to run an arma 2 server might be able to help you out more, unfortunately I did not.  Best I can do for ya.

You need BattlEye = 1; in your server.cfg

https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/server.cfg

If it's there properly, try redoing the server.cfg from scratch and make sure you're specifying a path to BE, make a folder in your instance folder and specify it in the startup like this:

"-bepath=D:\DayZServer\instance_server_CDN\BattlEye"

Thanks for ur answers.

BattlEye = 1; is included in my config file. I'm 100% sure it is loading this config file on server start.

Im using "-BEpath=C:\BattlEye" and I put BEServer.dll and BEClient.dll from https://www.battleye.com/downloads/ inside this folder.

Are you using BEC? I I run BEC and that usually catches the global bans and kicks for me.
