Psysical pop tabs

Can any give an answer how this will work? Because as of now if you die a distance from a mission and have to run back to a trader in order to get a gun and then back to mission it takes a while. If you now have to go by a bank every time you die then the game is gonna taken even longer because you never can carry money with you. Unless you only lose part of it when you die.

Can anyone clarify how this will work?

You have to store all tabs in a lockable device, (Safe, Car, Heli, etc). You will also have access to a locker at trader which will allow you to store 10K at trader.  Any more than that, it is go to your lockable "bank", get the money, and go to trader. If you get killed along the way wtih said money, it is dropped on the ground as loot for someone else to pick up, or you if you are lucky enough to make it back in time.  Welcome to the world of character investment and having to take actual risks with your money.

The only types of banks that exist are in traders, so if you are smart and store money there you can use that to regear and go back to the mission. It doesnt really make the game longer, it makes it realistic and harder for people to hoard wealth.

Sounds a bit similar to altis. If you get money from anything you get it straight to you backaccount and have to deposit it to use it. Or am I wrong?

There are two different storage options for money:

  1. Any object that has an inventory.
    1. Can be accessed by anyone who can access the inventory, so unless it's locked, it can be stolen.
  2. Private locker
    1. These are located at traders and have a limited storage capacity. (default 10,000)
    2. Can only be accessed by you.

In order to use money, you must move it to your player. Exile has changed how the inventory GUI looks so you can accomplish this, it's at the bottom.

In order to buy something, you must have money on your player and it will be used just like it was before.

The only difference is that when you get killed or die in any way shape or form, your money will be on your character. So when you spawn back in, you WILL NOT have any money on you. You can retrieve your money back from your body by accessing the inventory and transferring it across like you would with any other storage object.

When you pick up money off of a player or the ground, that money will be on you. In order to make it "safe", you must put it in one of the two storage containers at the top of this comment.

Does that make sense?

Thought I would highlight this -- Not every server will have lockers at their traders, I for one hate the idea and think it was a reaction to the vocal minority having a massive sook over the new system. But as this amount is configurable I can guarantee alot of server owners will just set it to a phenomenal amount, completely and utterly negating the entire physical pop tab system.
