Does Server Time Affect Despawn Time?

Question

If in game time is sped up does that mean despawn times are too? I run 3 hours days with 1 hour nights. Players who die are losing their bodies/gear/etc because the bodies are despawning too quickly. Does despawn rely on the ingame time or the static time?

Maybe they are broken. They seem to affect things for me, maybe its wishful thinking.

Go slow, test well, communicate, implement.

corpseRemovalMaxTime = 3600;

Really want to hear if the solution from GamersRoost workt for you, as i got that same feeling.
My server is x6 time speed

When the code says " // These are broken as fuck, do not use them! " I'm not entirely sure if I should touch it. :|
