Death loop

Question

Players send my report. Player cant respawn,death,relog.

DAMN again death loop bug,how to fix?

I just had one pop up last night with one of our admin. I'm going to try this today:

And if that doesn't work I'll just nuke him from the DB, unless anyone has a newer improved method?

hello i have the same problem when I install dms for the missions, spawn in dying

Hello guys..try this.

 

create a new sqf file in your mission folder named death_timer_bug_temp_fix.sqf and in it write this

player allowdamage false;
sleep 20;
player allowdamage true;

At the top of the initplayerlocal.sqf file, add this

[] execVM "death_timer_bug_temp_fix.sqf";

We usually will delete the  rows from the "player" table once they are logged out.  Then they will be fixed when they come back in.  When players could soft log, it would be much easier, but for now they have to log out.  So search account, get GUID, search player and it almost always has two entries.
