Radiation without Markers

Is there a way to do radiation without markers? I'm not worried about "radiation" loot as I would have a specific buildings with a set loot table.

Yes, edit your mission.sqm file.

This is for example only and from the default exile Tanoa mission so yours may be different.

	    class Item41
	    {
	        dataType = "Marker";
	        position[] = {2901.51, 0, 12333.8};
	        name = "ExileMarker41";
	        text = "";
	        markerType = "ELLIPSE";
	        type = "ExileContaminatedZone";
	        colorName = "ColorBlack";
	        fillName = "Border";
	        a = 1600;
	        b = 1600;
	        drawBorder = 1;
	        id = 141;
	        atlOffset = 0;
	    };

	    class Item42
	    {
	        dataType = "Marker";
	        position[] = {2901.51, 0, 12333.8};
	        name = "ExileMarker42";
	        text = "";
	        type = "ExileContaminatedZoneIcon";
	        id = 142;
	        atlOffset = 0;
	    };

In the above code the first block is what defines the area and the second block puts the icon there. If you do not want the icon just remove any blocks of code with ExileContaminatedZoneIcon making sure that your class item's and id's are all correctly numbered after removing them.

This will leave you with a outline circle showing the size of the radiation area. If you don't want this, in the first block you will see "drawborder = 1;" change the 1 to a 0 to disable the border.

Tried this. No effect sadly.

you need to remove the text, change border to "0" then remove the whole icon class then -1 from the item count.
