Arma 3 Server doens't load up Exile mod

Question

Hello Community,

I have set up a Arma 3 server with LGSM on Ubuntu 14.04 a couple of days ago.
I haver downloaded all the libraries etc.
ExtDB works, arma server starts. everything is set up basically. but i can't seem to be able to load Exile, it always boots be to the Voting menu to vote for a mission.
I CAN though, vote for Exile.Tanoa, Exile.Altis and Exile.Namalsk.
But when i do vote for a mission (any mission) It kicks me with a Script Restriction #0.
does anybody of you have an idea about how to fix this or what i did wrong?

In case you need any extra infromation just tell me.

Your config.cfg file looks ok, i wanted to check the template being called.

I think your problem might be your startup parameters but it all depends on file locations. Is your config.cfg in the same location as arma3server.exe or is it in your @ExileServer folder? If its the later then you need to change -config to include the path as it will be looking for it in the root.

Also im not sure on this part of it

-autoinit > stdout.log 2> stderr.log &

Try this as your startup parameters and see if it works

-mod=@Exile -servermod=@ExileServer -profiles=Profiles\Tanoa -config=@ExileServer\config.cfg -cfg=@ExileServer\basic.cfg -name=default -port=2302 -autoinit

Do you use A3 Launcher as well? In A3 Launcher go to the MODS tab, find Exile, and click on the "folder" button, to view where the mod is installed.

If you have Exile installed, but in the ARMA Launcher (game launcher, not A3 Launcher) it does not show Exile as one
of the mods to "tick" or add, you may have it installed somewhere else.

I came across this with another person, and it turned out they had installed the Exile Mod to their "Documents" folder; of all places. :D

If you know where your Exile mod is installed, in ARMA Launcher, click on the icon that allows you to add a local mod;
this is at the top of the launcher, it looks like a file folder with a little green "+" sign on it, labeled Local Mod.

When you downloaded Exile 1.0.0 did you get errors when extracting? I would guess your problem may be due to corrupt files as its saying the size is not correct

Posted (edited)

mhhhhh, i didn't get any errors. but i'm just gonna go ahead and download the files again
edit: alright that seems to have fixed this problem, now i'm getting "Server creation failed:2302" though.
if i remove the "-autoinit" from the startup parameters it does work, but i have to vote for a mission and it still kicks me if i do so.
