Add Zombies and Demons mod to my server

Hi guys,

I'd try to had to my server the mod from ryan Zombie and Demons but i've got some trouble with that. I see the most forum guide about that but i didn't understand all of this and didn't see where is really the guide. I copy the exilez.pbo to the server add-on and it doesn't work. Maybe can you help me with a simple guide of add the zombie and demons mod ?

This seems to be one of the worst mod documentation ever.

From what I understand, you have to get the @Ryanzombies mod on you main server dir. The client needs to have it too, so you have to make sure they dont join the server without having it.

For this, you do something like this on your mission.sqm in mpmissions: 

addOns[] = {"ryanzombies"};

Then, from what i read in the forum, you have to get a spawner working for the zombies, and that is when the problems kick in.

I'm using the ZOMBIES_CODE-master spawner. Its somewhere on the forum. You get two folders on it:

MODLESS_ZOMBIES and NEW_CODE.

For the first, it is logical that you no longer need the @Ryanzombies mod on the server, however it's not explained anywhere.

On the second folder you got 4 .rar, each one with similar stuff. There's a readme file that says they are mostly updates, but no explanation from there. You just have to guess what to do with them. For some, it makes sense that you still use the @Ryanzombies, for the later one it looks like you can use it with modless_zombie.

But guess what? Yap, they say nothing about that.

Don't know if there's more spawners around there, if there is, I would totally recommend you to use another one unless they are even worse documented than these.

Been two days, got everything running without an error, but i can't see a zombie anywhere.

In init.sqf, i'm using this for trigger locations:

They are mostly on Georgetown, for debbug and testing.

Hope this info, for whatever it's worth help you, or at least catch the attention on someone who can help make a manual for this mod...

Use ExileZ to spawn zombies

If you use the correct spawn config and set everything up properly, it should put red circles on the map, representing zombie spawners

Or you're using a massively outdated and no longer supported version of the Zombie spawner.. ;)

As @Steelius pointed out, ExileZ 2 is the one to use and it's very easy to install (and find with a search on the forums).
