Hello i have a very strong opinion about how base raiding should work.

1. The only parts of the base that can be breached would be doors and gates. Why? Because then it would make griefing sow easy and people can loose alot of progress and hours invested into the game in an istant.

2. Because of the statement i made above, if people could destroy the entire base, then it would make basebuilding pointless because the most logical thing would be to leave crates and safes in the midle of nowwhere very well hiden.

What does everyone think about the points i made above?

You just build a base where it will takes people hours to raid lol. You just have to be smart about building your base.

Change some code up and make bases respawn after restarts. Then you can enjoy base pvp without losing hours of work.

O.P. first , making only the doors/gates destroy able means i just use walls in front of the gates/doors.
My base is now immune to raiding.

I advocate the following :    All objects can take explosive damage , its called exile not hold my hand please mum i'm scared of lossing stuff or learning how to build a base thru experience and loss.

And /  or without the following :  Bases can only take damage on certain days/times.

For those that need there hands held , restrict days and times base objects can take damage thus forcing pvp on set days , and allowing small groups clans a chance to defend them selves.

In my experience with arma 2 epoch arma 3 epoch and exile the only base raiding that happens other than the small shootout is while the owners are offline so for me i prefer the Man up and kill them with there doors open.

Most bases in exile items are in either a locked car or safe anyway as wooden boxes blowup if you blow the wall down and there next to it.

Sorry but im not the guy that spends an entire day thinkin out a perfect base. like many others i think.

That is a very good idea actually....

But that doesnt solve the issue of a solo or small group of players loosing hours of grinding to a group of 10 players that have plenty of resources per example...
