Are grinder batteries in vanilla exile or do i need to add them to my server?

10 posts in this topic

I have the grinding action working in my server but it says i need batteries to power it. I dont remember ever finding batteries in exile, are they just rare? I went into my mission folder to try and see if they were buyable or if i can edit the price and CTRL-Fd for "batteries" and nothing showed up.

am i looking in the wrong server file?

Oh i misread that as "They ARE used in exile normally"

Do you know how i can add them in? Sorry im new to owning a server

you can simply use them as is by including their classname in whatever your doing, to set them a price head to config.ccp in your mission file and in the cfgarsenal section to set a price, just copy paste one of the other items and fill in with what you want, every item you load onto the server can be used u just have to include them somehow, loot table / trader / spawn item to include them into the server itself for players to get then from there adding them into scripts or crafting recipes to make them useful

Add the Exile_Magazine_Battery in the mission file.cpp in the traders if you want to buy them and lower down add them to the cfg.arsenal. If you want them to spawn in you'll have to add them into exile_server_config as well.
