[DMS Add-on] IMS - Interactive Missions for DMS Exile - Version 0.5.0 (06.12.2016)

This Add-on is builded and tested on a public dedicated server enviroment with Arma 3 |1.64 Exile Mod 1.0.2 |DMS (Version 05.09.2016)

What is IMS?

IMS is an add-on for Exile and DMS to bring interactive and dynamic mission gameplay content to your Exile Server.

 

Requirements:
DMS for Exile by Defent and eraser1

Installation:

Content:

The Fortress interactive raid mission [Tanoa | Chernarus]

DMS Mission Features:
- Static NPC group spawns with ai behavior, waypoints and formations.
- Patrol group that moves in a cycle around in the fortress area.
- Helicopter reinfocements.

 

Interactive Mission Features:
- Using exiles toast notifications to give informations about mission progress.
- Adding tasks for detailed mission instructions.
- Adding task markers for better mission progression.
- Adding terrain and interaction objects.
- Eventscripts and functions.
- Paracute Loot drops.
- Nopresistent and Presistent parcute vehicle drops.
- Much love to the mission gameplay enviroment.

IMS Rebuilded - Stable Release 0.5.0

Complete rebuild release of IMS:

  • Function based import system to create interaction options to objects, simpleobjects, vehicles and npcs.
  • Function to create nonpresistent and presistent vehicle parachute drops.
  • Function to create loot parachute drops.
  • Function to import Exile Eden Plugin generated simpleobject/object spawns.
  • Function based import system to create interaction loot-crates.
  • New hold action icon style and types.
  • Fixes on IMS based DMS missions.

Maybe some more changes are included but there are to much work done to list here.
If you have already installed a previous version of IMS on your Exile Server please completely de- and reinstall IMS!

awesome! This a nice release. Adds a whole new type of gameplay to missions.

From the video, this is going to great. I downloaded and took a quick look and just had one question. Are the buildings and such added from you add on or through DMS like a normal DMS Static mission? I was wondering because I didn't see a static Object folder to be added to DMS, only the static mission file.

No they are in separate files in the a3_rg addon (a3_rg\objects):

RG_mapObjects.sqf

RG_buildingObjects.sqf

These files are created with the Exile EDEN Plugin.

Please feel free to ask as many questions as you want about the different parts of the system.

EDIT: I can also upload the mission.sqm that includes the placed objects in the Eden Editor.

This mission system is awesome. Can't wait to fully test it out this restart, but what we were able to test was fantastic. Loving this. Hopefully this is the future of mission systems. Love the interactivity. Nice job!!
