4 posts in this topic

Feature request for next update.....

Can supply drops be adapted on next update so there is another solution for them to land on maps that don't have airports ?

If you are comfortable with the code, you can go to exile_server.pbo\code\ExileServer_system_event_supplyBox_start.sqf and edit it.

_airportPositions = call ExileClient_util_world_getAllAirportPositions;

That defines the positions of the airport. You can change it to coordinates. For example:

_airportPositions = [[4244.2344,10790.972,0],[4227.0161,10777.956,0],[4200.0073,10820.386,0],[4229.0659,10838.146,0],[4173.7827,10765.084,0]] call BIS_fnc_selectRandom;

I can't say for sure that is the correct format for positions but that should get you started.

Thanks, I doing just that but I dont think you need to call select random since the code after takes care of it, this was more to have it support other maps out of the box.

What is the min and max time used for though?

I moved this file to ExileCustom and added to MPmission, I made the following changes:

Quote

_airportPositions = call ExileClient_util_world_getAllAirportPositions;
_config = configFile >> "CfgSettings" >> "Events" >> "SupplyBox";
_markerTime = getNumber (_config >> "markerTime");
if (_airportPositions isEqualTo []) then
{
	 _airportPositions =  [[1788.4,4900.05,0], [1357.79,2627.09,0], [4771.49,3985.5,0],[13062.2,903.787,0],[15435.6,2710.79,0]];
};
_filteredAirportPositions = [];
{
	if !([_x, 1000] call ExileClient_util_world_isTraderZoneInRange) then
	{
		_filteredAirportPositions pushBack _x;
	};
}

Do you see anything wrong here? it doesnt look like they are spawning, also what is the Min and Max time? does that define start of the events?
