Server 1.64 and CUP weapons 1.8.1

Hello,

We have a Windows server with Arma server 1.64 and CUP weapons 1.8.0. Everything works as expected. After CUP weapons updated to 1.8.1 I get an error and server crashes.

ErrorMessage: Bad version 73 in p3d file 'cup\weapons\cup_weapons_mk48\cup_mk48_woodland.p3d'

Restarting the server gives the same error, but the weapon name changes. 1.8.1 keys are in place and everything related to 1.8.0 should be removed. The issue is the same with files from Steam as well as from official CUP pages.

Q) Should the combination Server 1.64 and CUP weapons 1.8.1 work?

Q) Any suggestions on how to fix?

Hi,

Do you rent the server somewhere, or you host it yourself?

It works fine for me, do you have the same problem with your client?

maybe try to upload cup_mk48_woodland.p3d from your Cup Weapons folder.

Hello,

Thank you for the replies.

We're hosting this on our own so we have all the power.

I would like to run the 1.66, but I am a little bit unsure of the fixes listed on the main thread for 1.66 fix. Are the fixes in the first post enough or are there anything to add? There was quite a lot text struck over.

I got the same error _once_ on the client side but that is gone. Not sure if Steam was b0rken at the time. Now without the error on client side, using the same files (copy-paste) of cup weapons on the server, the error is still there.

I had missed the hotfix from Bohemia and am now running 1.66 without any issues also with CUP weapons 1.8.1.
