I have a better idea. Two week ban for anyone posting support questions in General Discussion. One week ban for people responding to support questions in General Discussion.

:)

Not sure if it's possible, but adding the feature that warns someone that General Discussion is not for support questions after they hit the Submit button, and then they have to click Ok to continue. Something has to be done about all of the idiots that can't read that big red warning at the top of the page.

I'll speak with Bastian and see what can be added. It's just tiresome to continue to lock topics, move them or even delete them. Then giving warnings and people start bitching because they're blind

most of the posts are from single digit posters meaning banning them and people who help wouldnt really fix the problem

Thats why i don't ban them or warn them but if i lock their thread with the reason and they continue to make the mistake and post well thats when I drop the warning

Ok so if some are already required a minimum post count, then why not make it for everyone.....
Isnt It kinda odd to get the exact opposite of what you expected?
Well thanks again I am sure there might be some peeps requesting some changes soon

What i said had nothing to do with " Ps. Honestly though, a minimum post count before starting a thread is useful "
