[SOLVED] infiSTAR Tanoa boat trader explode

7 posts in this topic

Dear Community

Since we are using @infiSTAR on our exile tanoa server, we experience, that if we buy a boat on any boat trader, sometimes it pushes the player whit the boat back to the coast, and explodes whit the boat. We where looking at this since the past few days, and  we are think that it should do whit infistar player teleportation, but cant say for sure. Any suggestions what can cause this?

Hey dude, I had that problem too, it took me some time to realise it was infiSTAR causing this. What happens is that your boat trader is not a safezone, nor is it defined in the array that infiSTAR has in its configfile.

You can fix this issue by changing this line in your EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG:

UAT = "true";               // THE DEFAULT IS TRUE, this is the TELEPORT detection. You can set this to false to fix your issue, but then you won't have
class allowTP {            //  any teleport protection. If you set it to true, make sure you add the coords into the array where it says "custom[] =.."
    custom[] = {};
};

Example from infiSTAR itself:

Spoiler

    class allowTP {
        custom[] = {
            {{0,0,0},1},
            {{1,1,1},1},
            {{2,2,2},1}
        };
    };

Enjoy! :)

Hey

exactly, I would keep it to true if I was you. Take the location of the trader and add the X Y Z coordinates instead of 0,0,0 and then the range from trader to boat spawn - maybe add a bit more

cheers

Is there any chance of adding a feature to InfiSTAR so it looks for all the Exile trader markers and using them, not just the safezone ones?

This would be possible for boat traders by changing the code inside EXILE_AH.sqf from:

_allowTP = [];
			{
				_markerType = markerType _x;
				if(_markerType isEqualTo 'ExileTraderZone')then
				{
					_markerPos = markerPos _x;
					_markerSize = markerSize _x;
					if(_once pushBackUnique _markerPos > -1)then
					{
						_allowTP pushBack [_markerPos,(_markerSize select 0)+40];
					};
				};
				if(_markerType isEqualTo 'ExileTraderZoneIcon')then
				{
					_markerPos = markerPos _x;
					if(_once pushBackUnique _markerPos > -1)then
					{
						_allowTP pushBack [_markerPos,215];
					};
				};
			} forEach allMapMarkers;

To this:

_allowTP = [];
			{
				_markerType = markerType _x;
				if(_markerType isEqualTo 'ExileTraderZone')then
				{
					_markerPos = markerPos _x;
					_markerSize = markerSize _x;
					if(_once pushBackUnique _markerPos > -1)then
					{
						_allowTP pushBack [_markerPos,(_markerSize select 0)+40];
					};
				};
				if(_markerType isEqualTo 'ExileTraderZoneIcon')then
				{
					_markerPos = markerPos _x;
					if(_once pushBackUnique _markerPos > -1)then
					{
						_allowTP pushBack [_markerPos,215];
					};
				};
				if(_markerType isEqualTo 'ExileBoatTraderIcon')then
				{
					_markerPos = markerPos _x;
					if(_once pushBackUnique _markerPos > -1)then
					{
						_allowTP pushBack [_markerPos,215];
					};
				};
			} forEach allMapMarkers;

This would treat all 'ExileBoatTraderIcon' (default boat trader icon) as safe/TP zones with a 215m radius, regardless of where they are placed on the map
