class Time Real Time vs Static Time

Question

So I set my time to useRealTime = 1; however, when it's day time in Real Life, it's night time in game. When it's night time in Real life it's day time in game.

Where can I set this up so that it actually matches real life time on my server?

Here you go, this should be called something like time.sqf and be called in your own init.sqf. Just play around a but with the values and im sure your can archieve your desired pattern. Just take the calculator out for a spin. I believe the credits go to cre4mpie from gamersinc, however dont quote me on this :)

if (!isServer) exitWith {};

while {true} do
{
    if (daytime >= 19 || daytime < 5) then   // after 7pm and before 5am time multiplier changes
    {
        setTimeMultiplier 24 // adjust this value for slower or faster night cycle ( 24 hours will take 1 hour )
    }
    else
    {
        setTimeMultiplier 36 // adjust this value for slower or faster day cycle ( 12 hours will take 1 hour )
    };

    uiSleep 30;
};

i think 'real time' denotes the arma clock moving at normal speed as opposed to 2x faster, for example.

every time arma restarts, it will start at the time set in the mission file.  so it maybe 10AM for a few seconds, then flip to 8PM.

how to do what you wish?  have a script running that would get current time and then convert that into arma time and push it out, then repeat.

do i know of said script?  no

can it be done?  yes

can i do it?  yes

will i do it?  no

:)
