Infistar 0.73 restart messages

15 posts in this topic

HI.

I  noticed that in the version 0.73 of Infistar, in file EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp disappeared variables : RESTART_ANNOUNCE_X_MIN[]  and USE_RESTART_TIMER.

Is that mean no more available announcement messages before restart ?

If I put this variables in to EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp they will be working?

I hope he didn't remove that feature. I use it for my server. I'm still on 069a but I won't update if that's the case.

Where are they exactly?

I downloaded ver 0073 at 21-Feb-2017, searched whole file  EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp, and can not find anywhere  RESTART_ANNOUNCE_X_MIN[]  and   USE_RESTART_TIMER

Why would it be moved from the config file? That should be the only file you should have to edit.

Thank you dude :rock:

Looks like now I need edit:

_announce_restarts = [15,10,5,4,3,2,1];

in EXILE_AH.SQF  Correct ??

PS. I understand that there were important reasons why this option has been moved to a file EXILE_AH.SQF, but in attached readme.txt, in section INASTALLATION still is information:

02. Open the "EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp" (do not edit the other files).

what for new users mean that restart messages are not available to edit, because they will not even know that such an option was earlier and disappeared from the file  EXILE_AHAT_CONFIG.hpp  :$

Yes you could, keep in mind tho that messing with those files, if you dont exactly know what you are doing, still could lead to potentially breaking the script if you make a mistake.

Just go for it and otherwise i'll help you out.

in 74 it will appear again:
RESTART_IN_X_ARRAY[] = {15,10,5,4,3,2,1};    /* Announce the a restart x mins before it happens (x stands for each number) */

I had that whole restart thing rewritten and hardcoded the those numbers kind of in (forgot to put them back into the config)
