[SOLVED] Battleye is my nemesis

6 posts in this topic

Hi All,

after thinking "i have finished to properly configure my server", I discovered that he was not using BattlEye ... And it was a very bad surprise because after having forced the loading of BE in the start script of the server I had an huge amount of "Kicked by restriction #nnnn" ..... I started adding all exceptions to scripts.txt of BattlEye files but after 6 hours of work I have not yet finished, for each custom action that is performed by the player (I do that by myself to test) I have a new exception to be included into the file.
And can such a thing? Or I did not understand something fundamental?
For each addon that I have installed (perfectly working when BattlEye is not active) I also added the exceptions that are provided with the addon installation guide, but it did not help ...
Example: Using the addon ExAd with all the XM8 App, I had at least 25 exceptions to be added to be able to log into the server, then another 12 for the opening of the XM8 console and then another 3-4 for each app and its once at least one for each function "clickable" in the App ... it's crazy ... possible that there is not a different way than losing a lot of days to configure exceptions BattlEye?

Excuse me, but I'm thinking of leaving the server configuration, partly because no BattlEye is unthinkable to leave 24/24 online.

Thank you,
Hello to all.

i see "RyanZombieB_Soldier_04_f_1slow" or "RyanZombieB_Soldier_03_f_1slow" in example that are repeated with different number... this makes me think that I will go on forever adding exceptions to setvariableVal.txt.... where am I doing wrong?

Many Thanks :-(

1 !"RyanZombie" !"civilrole" !"civil"

to publicVariableVal.txt as this does a wildcard search through the expression rather than !="RyanZombie" which would have to exactly match

adding the 3 should make sure but you may find you need to add !"civilrole" to publicvariable.txt to just totally ignore the value/variable
