Remove new "feature" re: vehicles blowing up/critical hit

I've come to the conclusion that this change in Arma 3 is causing persistent vehicles that spawn in with damage to blow up:

Added A new Hull hit point for wheeled vehicles (so they can be destroyed on a single critical hit)

My question for this topic is, does anyone know if there's a way to reverse that change or to make it so vehicles can NOT be destroyed with a single critical hit?

I'm not sure if you could undo the changes without rolling back to 1.66..

But just as a heads up, I too use John's Persistent Vehicles and am having zero issues spawning issues with it.

Are you spawning them in with damage and if so, how much?
