Infistar and Advanced Train Simulator

17 posts in this topic

Hi guys we found this mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=891938535 and to be fair it's really cool and works well, if your an admin on infistar.

However if your a normal player with no admin rights on infistar you get kicked from the server as soon as you get in the trains, please see logs below:

Kick Log:

Quote

Fred(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) HLOG_SKICK: Fred(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) | INVISIBLE PLAYER-OBJECT @042084 [4243.05,8484.66,0.00143886] | 0h 11min 56s

Hack Log:

Quote

Fred(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) | INVISIBLE PLAYER-OBJECT @042084 [4243.05,8484.66,0.00143886] | 0h 11min 56s

so, my question is to anyone that knows is what do I have to do in infistar to set this up so that normal non admin players can drive the trains without getting kicked from the server?

I would really like to get this working because it's a really nice mod and quite a cool feature to be able to drive the trains on Tanoa, especially for the new players that don't have much in the way of transport.

many thanks guys

Hello!

We have the same issue.
Its related to infistar's:

checkHiddenObjects = true;

But i cannot seem to find that option in infistar anymore.

@infiSTAR was this function removed from the config file?
And in that case. How can we bypass or add an exception for it?
Thank you for your awesome work on the admin tool as always! :)

@GZRep thanks for your reply, you know I thought I was going nuts as I thought there used to be something like that in the config once and now can't find anything that even remotely looks like it.

i have not tested yet, but is your

useObjectVariableCheck = "false";

set to false or true?

and possible ya need to add to

variableTypeChecks[] =
{

{'ATRAIN_3rd_Person_Camera',objNull},
{'ATRAIN_3rd_Person_Camera_Target',objNull},

might be some others you would need to add.

Hello mate!
We have our useObjectVariableCheck set to false.
So that is probably not it...

But i have tried to add your variableTypeChecks now to see if it helps abit :)
But im most definitly certain that it has something todo with infistar's old

checkHiddenObjects = true;

GZRep but it pretty much was this:

If the only issue is the kick for "INVISIBLE PLAYER-OBJECT"

You need to open the EXILE_AH.sqf and search for that string using ctrl + f and then remove the whole block:

I'm afraid that afterwards another check might cause a kick tho

maybe you can try it :)
