Trading point: how to paint black circle blue or red on map?

Question

Hello Folks!

I have almost reached my goal, to build my own Exile-Server.

Three Tasks are open:

- Zombies an Demons (this will be the last Task, cuz its very difficult for me)

- Finishing (prizes, loot... etc.)

- "Map painting" means, turning black circults into colored Spots

On my Server it looks like this

http://www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=46911d-1491908435.jpg

but i want it to look like this:

http://www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=e09b3b-1491909063.jpg

i went into my mpmission folder. Unpack exile.tanoa. Open "mission.sqm"

At about row 1400, there are marker configurations like this:

class Item1
        {
            dataType = "Marker";
            position[] = {9383.25, 0, 6203.86};
            name = "ExileMarker1";
            text = "No Kill Zone";
            markerType = "ELLIPSE";
            type = "ExileTraderZone";
            colorName = "ColorBlue";
            fillName = "Border";
            a = 79.787;
            b = 79.787;
            drawBorder = 1;
            id = 101;
            atlOffset = 0;
        };

On map I see the trader icon with a black circle around it. I don't know the syntax to change anything...

this should work

Spoiler

class Item1
        {
            dataType = "Marker";
            position[] = {9383.25, 0, 6203.86};
            name = "ExileMarker1";
            text = "No Kill Zone";
            markerType = "ELLIPSE";
            type = "ExileTraderZone";
            colorName="ColorBlue";
            fillName="SolidBorder";
            a = 79.787;
            b = 79.787;
            drawBorder = 1;
            id = 101;
            atlOffset = 0;
	    alpha = 0.7; //0-1.0 opacity
        };

don't work... if i change from "border" to "SolidBorder" no Border will be shown

Just do it in the Eden Editor?!

Easyest way to do that.

If you still need help with that do not hesitate to ask.

never used eden...

class Item13
{
	dataType = "Marker";
	position[] = {2265.13, 0, 8596.37};
	name = "ExileMarker13";
	markerType = "ELLIPSE";
	type = "ExileTraderZone";
	colorName = "ColorBlue";
	fillName = "SolidBorder";
	alpha = 0.7;
	a = 200;
	b = 200;
	drawBorder = 1;
	id = 113;
	atlOffset = 0;
};

Forgot to add alpha to the list. This will fix your issues.

Also, since i see a "id = ###" make sure these are EXACLY correct. Skip one, it wont work. Miss one, it wont work. Wrong index on top of the function. It wont work. Make sure each ID is unique.

Also, this will not work with ZEUS (a missionfile that allowes ZEUS to work does not use id tags for markers).
Ive learned this thanks to @FrenchcoreWorldWide who redid my missionfile.
But since your still in the beginnings, it will do just fine for now :).
