People disconneted

5 posts in this topic

Good day all . I have had my server running for about a week now . My friends and I can connect with no issues .

But when I see others trying to connect it either says they connected then disconnected or kicked .

My rpt doesn't give me any errors why .

Infistar shows the same .

I managed to speak with one person who had issues and he was  wasn't able to spawn in and it just showed the grassy land part . And it never went away .

With out it tellin me why people are disconnecting i have had a hard time tracking the issue or issues .

It almost sounds like to me a dB issue.

On people not having the required mods

How would I be able to track it down ?

check your db to see if its configured correctly then check your mods if you have installed them correctly

I know the mods are for sure. As I had just recently updated ebm and rhs.

I just check and the dB seems to be fine .

Seever is a dedictated box as well .

I changed the ip  from 127 etc to the global  ip. It should really Makena difference . A3 sees the server . Xm8 can see the server . Me and my friends can connect .

Maybe slow dB is the issue ?

As fire wall seems to be fine aswell .

thanks I did the following

To do this you can use this query:

ALTER TABLE `exile`.`player` CHANGE COLUMN `hitpoints` `hitpoints` VARCHAR(1024) NOT NULL DEFAULT '[]' ;

returned

19:24:25    ALTER TABLE `exile`.`player` CHANGE COLUMN `hitpoints` `hitpoints` VARCHAR(1024) NOT NULL DEFAULT '[]'    0 row(s) affected Records: 0  Duplicates: 0  Warnings: 0    0.015 sec
Then I Followed Up with this

Change `exile` to your schema name.

For servers who had this issue you most likely have players that have corrupt hitpoint data that can also be fixed by running these query's:

SET SQL_SAFE_UPDATES=0;
UPDATE `exile`.`player` SET `hitpoints` = '[["face_hub",0],["neck",0],["head",0],["pelvis",0],["spine1",0],["spine2",0],["spine3",0],["body",0],["arms",0],["hands",0],["legs",0],["body",0]]';

Which returned this

19:26:16    UPDATE `exile`.`player` SET `hitpoints` = '[["face_hub",0],["neck",0],["head",0],["pelvis",0],["spine1",0],["spine2",0],["spine3",0],["body",0],["arms",0],["hands",0],["legs",0],["body",0]]'    4 row(s) affected Rows matched: 8  Changed: 4  Warnings: 0    0.000 sec

so looks like I made changes , I'll wait for a reset and Keep an eye out .

Hope this works , thank you for the reply fithmanstanding
