Weather / Time selection

Seems the server config picks up the random keyframes for weather OK, but the time of day / date is grabbed from the mission file? Is this intended?

I am using Static time in the server config, I have changed to this -

 

class Time
    {
        // Uses Dedicated Server time as ingame Time
        useRealTime = 0;

        // Will overide RealTime
        useStaticTime = 1;

        // time in ARMA FORMAT << CONFIG
        // https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/setDate

        staticTime[] = {2015,4,floor(random 30) +1,6+floor(random 13),0};

 

The server seems to ignore the time changes above, and get the default times from the mission file.

Your problem is here:

 

  staticTime[] = {2015,4,floor(random 30) +1,6+floor(random 13),0};


Configs dont eat script commands

Not sure what you mean Grim, dont eat script commands? So I cant have the random calls there?

Ah I see.

Thanks, ill just keep it in the mission.sqm then I guess, it seems to work fine there, also still picks up the weather key frames from the config.

Do you foresee any issues if I do this ?
