Dms Missions spawn locations and type of mission spawning

9 posts in this topic

I run an exile tanoa map server. All my missions spawn on the large island only, and sometimes the same mission spawns 3 times in a row. How do I set it so they spawn all over the map and notthe same mission more than once in a row?

PS! how do I turn off those damn earthquakes?

You can find earthquakes in @Exile_Server_Config, located serverside. You'll find an array called enabledEvents. remove earthquakes from that and you're OK. Don't forget to make sure the syntax is allright!

I downloaded the missions again and this is how they still spawn...theyre overlapping and you cannot do missions...

Probably because they are looking for a flat location to spawn and tanoa is all hills. You can adjust that setting in dms config and try again.

@Jbayman you can try these settings for your tanoa_config.sqf:

DMS_MinDistFromWestBorder            = 800;
DMS_MinDistFromEastBorder            = 800;
DMS_MinDistFromSouthBorder            = 1100;
DMS_MinDistFromNorthBorder            = 1000;
DMS_SpawnZoneNearBlacklist            = 2000;
DMS_TraderZoneNearBlacklist            = 2000;
DMS_WaterNearBlacklist                = 200;
DMS_MixerNearBlacklist                = 500;

DMS_MinSurfaceNormal                = 0.8;
