1: Why is it a no loot spawn near traders ?

Is it becouse you are arfaid peeps pick up a gun run back sell it and repeat ?

All the way back in a2 loot has spawn in at traders and none had eny problems With it before you..so why now?,why try police a basebuilding game ?

2: Why is it no building in fresh spawnsones ?

Again there never been eny restrictions before now, sceared some put Down a flag to take over a building and have a safe there, newsflash peeps allways done that.no problem so why, why.

3: no loot near flags ?

if inside the flag teritory .fine but all the way around it ? when 1 person put Down a flag in a village (that is what peeps do!) all loot from thos buildings are gone.

I must ask did you eaven think about what you was doing when you did come up With this New consept.

With that I mean og from base building to restrictions and policing ?

peeps want to take over buildings and make them their own it is suposed to be a open world basebuilding game now it is cant do this or that and for what reason?

none that I can think about so YOU has to answer for it.

I loved the game when first was out now I dont like it enymore and think it time to shange the server to epoch.or maybe h1z1,miscreated,life is feudal and so on you have a lot of competition,in open world base building games plzz do not scrue up further.

Enyone think my English suck (yes it does) just Write me in Norwegian and be happy to explain what you didnt understand.

best regard from grumpy

IMO you will be one of the few thinking this way. Us admins and players love this; it *balances* the game way more then Epoch or other games did.

The game is a mere month old; if you're already upset you're better off playing a different game. Each his flavour !

Go on grumpy....  :)

As some of the guys have said here, most the distances on these new settings are configurable, I just left them as default for now grumpy until we iron out some of the issues which are pretty much all done now.

Best bet is to set up a poll on our Web for changing these settings so the rest of the guys can have a say. Personally, I like them as I don't think you should be able to loot and sell in traders or, build right next to spawn points. Spawn point camping had been a horrible problem to police on the other mods.

But I'll move with the community on this so, post in our server suggestions thread.

Cheers bud,

Think you dont get the point here so I simplify ..you Write a basebuilding/loot program then shange the focus to "police"

All I wanted was a answer if that is the future and all the NeXT Upgrades\patches are about server policing or will the time be used on good ideas I been Reading on this forum like base spawn bed, water purifier and so on.

Hope this Clear up some confusing about the mather.

Wow.. Just.... Wow...

All these things you mention is something the sever admin can adjust to their liking, it's all in the configs, it is entirely up to the server admin to adjusting the "police" as you say.

What ka0s here said, exile has a great deal of settings which are able to be modified by a server administrator, the location and loot deadzone of traders being two of them.

realy REALY!! this is the answer ,,,to something I DIDNT ask about...was the question "how to shange settings" or "is it posible to shange it "..

get some glases or learn how to read THEN answer the question not some fiction you make up.

1: Why is it a no loot spawn near traders ?

The trader cities are already one of the main places where people meet. If there would be loot to sell, it will only attract people even more.

2: Why is it no building in fresh spawnsones ?

Because people will just camp the spawn zones with static machine guns hidden in their base?

3: no loot near flags ?

If we wouldn't do that, people will choose the location of their base depending on how well the loot is. All the military zones and high loot areas will be blocked by a base.

As all of the others before me already mentioned: This can differ from server to server. If you are not satisfied with that, why don't you host your own server? Or search for a server that has no limitations? If you can't find a server without these limitations, it could give you something to think about... :)

All the way back in a2

I did not know Exile was available in Arma 2?

This post shows that there is no point discussing with you. If you wish, I can close this topic for you.
