High FPS - Stuttering

Question

Hello,

For some reason my server is stuttering a lot for players, I've scaled down the AI missions and it still seems to be happening. I'm pretty sure it wasn't doing it before I added this status bar? Do you think a status bar could cause this issue?

I'm thinking it might be the roaming AI? I have downscaled on restart.

Thanks

Roaming Ai is a massive lag/FPS killer, especially if many players are online.

Ok I thought that might be the case, I've scaled it down to 0.1% chance.

If you have roaming AI, move it to a headless client.

I read Headless client doesn't work for Roaming AI?

HC works fine with A3XAI if that's what you are using for roaming ai.

HC is enabled, I guess you just put HC = 1; ? I'm still getting the jittering

No.

A headless client means that you have another instance of arma that uses its computing power to offload the first instance.

This needs to be configured, you need to launch another arma3server with the -client modifier and set it up, a3xai has a pdf-guide with a howto.
