Removing Loot from Trade / Safe zones??

Hi Everyone,

I can not find anything on removing loot from a safe-zone, I have an exile esseker server and loot spawn at all 3 traders.

Does anyone have any information on stopping this?

**EDIT**

The issue i had with loot spawning in safe-zones was the type. For some reason the type had nothing in it so i simply had to add ExileTraderZone and this fixed the issue with loot spawning and stopped missions spawning near a trade zone BUT this also stopped refueling at gas stations in a trade-zone, if anyone has a fix that would be great.

FIND THIS IN YOUR MPMISSION/MISSION.SQM

There is a setting in the exile_server_config.pbo\config.cpp:

		/**
		 * Defines the radius around trader cities where the system should
		 * not spawn loot. Set this to 0 if you want to have loot spawning
		 * in trader citites, ugh.
		 */
		minimumDistanceToTraderZones = 100;

However, this doesn't seem to work. I guess maybe it's a known bug that hopefully will be fixed?

I wish I could get loot to spawn. Might be the undoing of the map I'm working on. I am having vehicles spawn inside the trade zones though. Using N'Ziwasogo.

Yeah i had this set to 500, i guess i will have to remove any buildings which can spawn loot and then replace them with one's that can't but it seems abit long winded when the option there doesn't work. :'( 

I will keep looking and hope someone comes up with something also.

That option does work, I just messed up elsewhere :)

Does this mean it wont spawn loot 100m from the center of the trade zone or does it mean from the edge of the trade zone? All my tradezones are different sizes and one has a military building just outside the airfield trader and I would like players to still be able to loot from there as they cant sell items at aircraft dealers.

My airfield trader is 50m radius the barracks is about 65m from the center of the tradezone, I then have my main traders that is 175m in radius but all buildings spawn loot that I want to stop but I dont want to stop the loot at the barracks from the airfield trader. How can I solve this? Can I some how call 

minimumDistanceToTraderZones = 100;

for different traders and have different values?

Sometimes i wonder once you spawn it, and change values the database has it stored. Maybe try clearing the database with the new values might fix this issue if set to 500?

Is it a common thing with settings and the database? i don't know but sure seems logical to test this.

Having this issue as well.

I have a safe zone at Stary that is spawning loot 10m outside of it, yet I have the setting for the no loot near safezones set to 400m

Hi this is a known issue and is fixed in the next exile update, there is a typo in the server code.

  • Minimum distance to territories was used instead of minimum distance to trader zones when spawning loot - thx to Brun for reporting
