Hi

Is there a way to let the client who connect to the server auto download the mods installed on the server through the mpmission.pbo or another file?

Thanks in advance :)

I wouldn't want to play on the server while somebody is downloading the mods from the server, just saying. And there is a lot of obvious reasons for that of course.

There are other ways, like providing links to cdns and so one..

Of course there is, but lets say, a server running with:

All in Arma Terrain Pack
RHS: Escalation
MAS Weapons & Vehicles

+++ All sorts of small mods to enhance gameplay.

Would anybody be bothered to sit and wait in-game downloading 9-10 GB worth of mods before you can actually play?

I agree the system could have been better, and if so this was implemented at some point (We all know it wont be implemented), it should restrict like mods over i.e. 200mb can't be downloaded from the mpmissions or whatever. and has to be obtained through workshop or Armaholic w/e. :)
