Loot spawns once per location

Is it or can it be done that loot spawns only once at a location?

Meaning, if a place already has been looted the loot will not spawn a second time a player enters the same location or building until server restart.

A bit like DayZ system simply?

I'm agreeing with the others, not a fan of your idea. but hey. have fun.

come to think of it, earlier versions of exile had a "exilebuildinghasloot" or something similar flag set on buildings when they first spawned loot.
if it's still present, you could just disable when the variable is reset to false in the cleanup, and in theory that could stop more loot spawning.

and you probably disable the loot cleanup altogether while you're at it. because despawning loot on a server that doesn't generate more loot would be about as painful as applying your genitals to a cheese grater and gyrating.

at the same time, probably prepare your server and anus for mad lag. depending of course on player count and how many active loot piles there will be on the server.

already possible -> search for lootspawner.sqf  and deactivate exile's lootspawning system or integrate it.

this one spawns loot at server start and just at server start , so it gives a bit more realism.

But for Gameplay Reasons this is not recommended!

                            _building setVariable ["ExileHasLoot", true]; still exists

 

The trick would be to comment out line 45 in exileserver_system_lootManager_thread_despawnloot.sqf in exileserver.pbo

//        _building setVariable ["ExileHasLoot", false];
