New Skins at Vehicle Customs?

5 posts in this topic

class Exile_Car_Van_Fuel_Abstract
	{
		skins[] =
		{
			{"Exile_Car_Van_Fuel_Black",			100},
			{"Exile_Car_Van_Fuel_White",			100},
			{"Exile_Car_Van_Fuel_Red",				100},
			{"Exile_Car_Van_Fuel_Guerilla01",		150},
			{"Exile_Car_Van_Fuel_Guerilla02",		150},
			{"Exile_Car_Van_Fuel_Guerilla03",		150}
		};
	};
};

Is all that needs to be done is set the class to the parent type and then add the respective class names for the different variants?

Ok, so I did some digging and found these lines...

    _parentClassName = configName (inheritsFrom (configFile >> "CfgVehicles" >> ExileClientVehicleCustomsOriginalSkin));

    _vehicleCustomsConfig = (missionConfigFile >> "CfgVehicleCustoms" >> _parentClassName);

I believe I am at least somewhat correct in my assumptions.. Going to give this a try.. I just hope it pulls from the CfgVehicles that is in the mod..
