Untouched storage time limits and base decay

21 posts in this topic

In the A2 Epoch days, we had SQL queries that would delete storage that hasn't been touched in X number of days. Is there a system built into Exile that removes unused storage or are people still using the SQL queries? Also, how does "base decay" work. I know there's protection money that needs to be paid. How does that work? Will it just remove your flag if you don't pay it?

I agree that safes need a timer like 5 days after base maintenance is due so when the base is delete then person has 5 days to claim there safes then they are deleted. always being asked to unlock safes when someone does not pay dues gets annoying.

everything around your flag will be removed if you not pay your protection money

+ vehicles + safes

i guess the trigger to clean up the area is the last_payed_at field in the territory table

How about vehicles around the map? If not unlock with x amount of days there are unlocked or deleted..?

Here is what you need:

DELETE FROM container
WHERE spawned_at < now() - interval 10 DAY
AND last_accessed < now() - interval 10 DAY
AND last_accessed <> '0000-00-00 00:00:00';

Base Decay is broken in exile. It will not delete your base if you haven't paid protection

You break it, you fix it ;)

We have not had any problems with that so far. I think it would be a huge problem if 1,200 servers would suffer from that :(
