This Forum Administration!?

4 posts in this topic

Please Admins, don't kill any Topics without leaving an information that the topic was closed due to some reason. Same if you move a topic to another Category. It's annoying when information disappears in bermuda triangle or you have to search for it like for eastern eggs.

Good solution is to leave the Topic header and just put a post in it what happened  to this topic and lock it.

kind regards and with high respect for your awesome work

Cal

That's probably not going to happen because you have the link in the old board and the topic in another which just leads so symbolic links nobody needs.

Just use the right category which should be not that hard. For example many people ask for a script in the RELEASE section of scripts. Why? :)

So why a Topic that was originaly posted in General Discussion was moved into Constructive Criticism when the Topic was not meant to be criticism. It was just a question to the community to discuss something.

And why not add a category "Ask for scripts" or something like that when there are so many ppl doing wrong. Tbh, i would also ask in this section as there is no alternativ. :-)

But my main concern is about the MIA Topics. There was some usefull information and it disappeared without any info why. This brings up a lot irritation and force crosspostings you as an admin realy don't want to have. It's only one sentence to explain that a Topic got killed because the OP asked for it or because of copyright issues or whatever. At least for an active Topic you should do this.

regards

I also hope devs don't lock threads so fast, esp. if they don't read the topic very well.

It is the serveradmins choice since last patch turn thermal on/off. So topic closed now.

While this was about nightstalkers.. The option for thermal on/of in the cfg files is for vehicles, not for scopes!
