linux FIXED Cant load All In Arma Terrain Pack

8 posts in this topic

Hello.

I´m facing a major problem when setting up my server with AllInArmaTerrainPack.

I can use my server fine when no mods are enabled.

When using @Aia I get the following error:

Cannot open file '/home/arma3server/arma3server/serverfiles/@aialite2\dta\aia_languagecore'

My startup script:

mods="@exile;@exileserver;@aialite2"

As you can see the slashes in the @aialite2 folder are incorrect.

I have tried many things but can´t find a fix for this.

I´m using the newest centos 7

Are you sure that @aialite2 is the name of the folder that AIA is installed in? Are you sure about that path? I see arma3server listed twice in a row.

Yes. @aialite2 is the folder containing all files required. I simply renamed it for testing purposes.

The path is correct. Its simply a test machine and I messed up the directory.

I even renamed ALL files to lower case but that didn´t help either.

I found someone with the exact same problem:

it should be

/home/arma3server/arma3server/serverfiles/@aialite2/addons

Your missing the addons folder in the @ folder, which might be why it can't find the file.

Seems logical, but that´s not the issue.

The /dta directory is outside the addons folder.

Take a look at this the attached image.

I fixed it!

This is what I did in order to resolve this issue:

Downloaded the full AllInArmaTerrainPack instead of the lite version

1. Placed the contents of the @allinarmaterrainpack directory in a folder simply called 'test' No @ in front of the directory name!

mv \@allinarmaterrainpack/ test

2. Set the proper rights for my user 'arma3server'. Make sure that user is allowed to access any files inside the test directory!

chown -R arma3server: test/*

3. Edited the startup script like so:

mods="@exile/;@exileserver/;test/"

When starting the server in debug mode, don´t worry about the mod not showing up properly

This is what I get, but It still works just fine:

Thanks for everyone who tried to help me! Glad to have such a helpful community <3

My resolution for this turned out to be after renaming all the damn PBO's inside the package to lower case... because some one thought it would be cute to add random Caps to Things...  I found i had missed two, in the DTA folder, aia_languagecore.pbo and aia_languagecore_h.pbo
