[SOLVED] BadVariableContent kick

12 posts in this topic

 9:55:06 "<infiSTAR.de>HL| 0h 3min 27s | Bob Barker(xxxxxx) | BadVariableContent in missionNamespace: [setVehicleAmmo] in [avs_fnc_rearmturret]\r\n {#line 1 "mpmissions\__cur_mp.esseker\avs\avs_fnc_rearmturret.sqf"

_ok = params
[
["_vehicle", objnull, [objnull]]
];

if (!_ok) exitwith
{
diag_log format ["avs error: calling avs_fnc_rearmturret with invalid parameters: %1",_this];
};
_vehicle setvehicleammodef 1;} (v0022)"

Any hints about how I can prevent this kick?

I'll white-list that very varaibel so you can use that addon (what is avs?) :)

Yeah. I removed the variable check, setvehicleammo, from whatever file it was in to get it working for now.

How do I go about this? I see in the config where I need to add it, I just am not sure where to find the ID, for the function?

It should tell you in the infiSTAR logs if infiSTAR closes any display :o

Can you make me a short video or screenshot so I might have a clue? mh I will download avs later and look into it or I will just ask Rod

I've had that variable check disabled and don't have the logs from when this was occurring. I don't recall seeing a closed display kick or error in any of the logs. The first post is all I found. About 15 seconds a player joining the server they would just get kicked. Again, I don't recall and it may have been showing a display kick, but I am not 100% sure. I won't be able to test it out till later with the variable check back in.
