No loot spawns?

We're getting reports of massive inconsistencies since updating to tomato. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Done all the obvious checks of near territories, near traders, near other players, waiting/running around near a building first but, can't seem to find a constant theme.

Could this be affected by the backpack spawning issue?

Anyone else getting this problem? Can't believe it's just us 2.....

Also getting this. No loot spawn. Then I leave area and loot spawns for the area I am now 200m away from.

A few questions

Is there away of making the radius smaller so loot spawns in the military buildings close to the terminal? If so where would I find it?

And does loot spawn in territories? if not is that changable?

Been running my PvE server for almost a week now, still haven't had any issues with loot, but seeing the server running almost a constant 50 FPS, there shouldn't be any problems anyway. 

But 1 & 2 for sure needs addressing, however I'd say to within 500m of any trader, that's fair enough, and 150m from any base. 

As for number 3... Well still looking forward to it, although I don't have any performance issues at all, but would be nice to get the HC running with AI instead B|

There is no fix for #3. With the super-low FPS, we're out of options.

 

Imagine Server FPS as water.

We have an engine related issue sucking up tons of water. We only have so much water. We try to spread the remaining water around to the potatoes (database saving), the carrots (loot spawning), our peas (vehicle simulation), our cabbage (AI missions), and our cucumbers (players doing playery things like moving and shooting each other) but we only have so much water. I can dump the rest of the water on Loot spawning and it'd work great, but then everything else dies. We'll just have to wait for 1.52 so our engine issue isn't wasting so much water for no reason.

There are a few things that are making this issue...

1) No loot spawn within 1000m of any trader.

2) No loot spawn within 300m of any base.

3) Threading system slowdowns caused by poor server FPS causing loot to simply not spawn for awhile.

 

Numbers 1 & 2 should be addressed by 0.9.21, number 3 should be addressed by Arma 1.52 (by speeding up server FPS)

ok I have seen since the update loot spawns are very ver slow on my one box and fast on the other one.  Thanks for clearing that up.  Thought it was something wrong with my files.
