big help for beginner

Hi guys,

I need your help for creating new trader (from 0) i would like to add one like a black market, on the map without safe zone.

But i check all the post here but at the end for me it's really confuse... i would like to know if someone could help me (and the guys like me) to do it, a tutorial will be amazing (step by step), like creating camp on map, add PNJ as seller, how to add custom stuff in trader (luncher, armored vehicules, etc...), edit their prices and the marker on map... 

(all vanilla stuff)

-Download m3editor

-Open up map in arma 3 Editor ( make sure you're Running the m3editor addon) ( scroll menu ingame to use)

-Put down your custom buildings

-Place a "chair" or something small where you Want your Trader Person to buy ( the Back of the chair is the way the trader is faceing)

-hit the Main Menu Button bottom left of the Editor, "Export sqf" save the File Somewhere

-Depending on If you want to put it Serverside or not... Do what you will with it.

-And there you Go :D

You can do this Through Arma 3 Editor, And opening up your Exile."nameofmap"  Put it in your Documents Directory or wherver you save your custom Mission's

Where it says type="ExileTraderZone" Above, Change this to type="empty"  So that Stuff spawns near it and there's not Safe Zone  , When your create this it should be "empty" by default.

 

P.S - There's An Addon for Custom Buildings you can use somewhere on this Forums, You'll just have to search for it, Also there's plenty of Tutorial Videos on the m3editor how to use it Which you'll also have to search around for

@Zarge ° thx mate really helpfull !! And an other question... How can i custom the stuff to sel in trader ?

Yes it's in serverside then it will copy directly in it (?)

sry for my english ;)

 

i tried already the A3editor and it's really nice tool

In your Server Folder , There's a File called MPmissions, in there is a pbo called Exile."Mapname"  , Unpack that Pbo , And go to Config.cpp , In there is where you add Everything that you need and adjust prices.

@Zarge ° Ok but in that folder it's just the exile stuff sadly and i would like to put some armored vehicules and rocket launcher etc... in that trader.

Howw can i configure what i want to sell into the custom trader ?

sry i'm really a beginner for creating trader...

@Zarge ° Yep i want to change these things but i cant find the class for RPG or stuff like that and armored vehicles like Panther, Marid or even ghosthawk...

And define their prices too...  perfect thx a lot for your help 

May i ask you some help if i'm stuck on creation of the trader ?

And the the seller will be already setup or i must have to edit more scripts on map or somewhere ?
